LOS ANGELES: Madame Tussauds Hollywood has unveiled a new wax figure of global superstar singer, songwriter, and actress Agnez Mo.
This marks a historic moment for Agnez, the breakout star of Reacher Season 4 on Amazon Prime, as she becomes the first Indonesian celebrity to be featured at a Madame Tussauds location in the United States.
In a recent statement, Agnez, whose full name is Agnes Monica Muljoto, said: "Being celebrated at Madame Tussauds Hollywood is an incredible honour, but what makes this moment truly meaningful is what it represents.
"A little girl who never quite fit in, who refused to let the world define her limits, and who turned being different into her greatest strength."
The 40-year-old star added: "To every little kid who's ever felt too different, too strange, or simply misunderstood: you were never meant to fit into someone else's mold.
"Stay raw. Stay authentic. Dare to be disruptive. And even when the world calls you crazy for dreaming too big, never lose sight of why you started in the first place."
The wax figure wears the black sequined jumpsuit from her 2023 music video Get Loose, which features American singer Ciara.
Madame Tussauds Hollywood general manager Jesse Harbison said: "We are excited to have Agnez's figure join us here in Hollywood.
"This is a historic moment that serves as an inspiration for others following in her footsteps."
Harbison added that 20 skilled artists spent a year completing the wax masterpiece, using hundreds of research images to sculpture, mold, and hand-paint the final piece.
"Every detail is crafted with precision—from the exact shade of hair and eyes to the placement of each individual strand of hair."
