UConn women's basketball went undefeated in the 2025-26 regular season for the first time in eight years. The Huskies built a 54-game winning streak, tying the fourth-longest in NCAA Division I history.
This season, however, recreating that success may be more challenging.
UConn will face four of the 2026 Elite Eight teams and six of the top 11 ranked teams in last year's final AP Top 25 Poll. And for the first time in 33 years, the Huskies won't face a non-conference opponent after the turn of the New Year.

In the Big East, UConn is expected to sweep conference play for the fourth straight season and win its seventh consecutive Big East regular-season title. The Big East Tournament returns to Mohegan Sun Arena during the first weekend of March.
