‘Hard to miss’: Trump compliments Nicki Minaj’s ‘beautiful’ backside

United States President, Donald Trump, has complimented rapper Nicki Minaj’s backside during a campaign rally in Michigan, telling her it was “hard to miss” as he addressed supporters.

Trump made the remark on Sunday, while speaking at a rally in Port Huron, Michigan, where he was joined by Minaj in support of Republican candidates ahead of the November midterm elections.

The president, who had travelled to Michigan with the rapper aboard Air Force One, made the comment while discussing his recent remarks about the physique of Ohio Republican Senator Jon Husted.

“By the way, I looked at one hell of a beautiful ass before – Nicki Minaj,” Trump said.

He added, “That’s hard to miss. That – stand up! That’s hard to miss.”

Minaj, who was seated among the audience, stood up as the crowd cheered.

Trump subsequently acknowledged that his remarks had taken him away from his speech.

“OK, I’m going to get back to my story, Nicki,” he said. “I hope Nicki wasn’t insulted, but we love Nicki. She’s been with us for a long time.”
