LOS ANGELES — The Savannah Bananas are bringing their unique brand of baseball and entertainment to one of the sport’s most iconic venues for the first time, with a two-day stop at UNIQLO Field at Dodger Stadium scheduled for April 23-24, 2027.
The Los Angeles Dodgers announced Monday that they will host the Savannah Bananas as part of the 2027 Banana Ball World Tour, giving Southern California baseball fans an opportunity to experience the wildly popular spectacle that has transformed traditional baseball into a fast-paced combination of athletic competition, trick plays, choreography and entertainment.
The Bananas will face the Firefighters during their two-day appearance at Dodger Stadium, marking another milestone for a franchise that has developed a massive following by reimagining how baseball is played and presented.
The event will take place while the Dodgers are on the road in Washington, D.C., facing the Nationals, allowing Dodger Stadium to host one of the fastest-growing attractions in sports without interfering with the team's regular-season schedule.
“The Savannah Bananas have built an incredible connection with fans by turning every game into a one-of-a-kind experience,” said Chris Koenig, executive director of Dodgers 365. “We’re beyond thrilled to welcome Banana Ball to UNIQLO Field at Dodger Stadium this spring to share that unique blend of baseball, entertainment and world-class showmanship with our fans.”
Founded by Jesse Cole, the Savannah Bananas have become a national sensation through their unconventional approach to America's pastime. Their games feature choreographed dances, elaborate celebrations, trick plays and constant fan interaction, all while maintaining a competitive baseball environment.
The concept, known as Banana Ball, operates under a modified set of rules designed to keep games moving quickly and audiences engaged from beginning to end. The organization has built its identity around a simple philosophy: putting fans first.
What began as an unconventional baseball experiment in Savannah, Georgia, has evolved into a touring sports entertainment phenomenon, with the Banana Ball Championship League featuring six teams competing across the country.
The Bananas' arrival at Dodger Stadium will bring that spectacle to a venue that has hosted some of baseball's most memorable moments, as well as major concerts and entertainment events throughout its history.
For Southern California fans hoping to attend, tickets will be distributed through a lottery system rather than a traditional first-come, first-served sale.
Fans must register for the 2027 Ticket Lottery List at bananaball.com/tickets before the registration period closes Saturday, Oct. 31, 2026, at 8:59 p.m. PT.
Registration does not guarantee tickets or even the opportunity to purchase them. Instead, a random drawing will determine which fans receive access to available tickets, with selected individuals contacted directly regarding the purchasing process.
The organization emphasized that registering earlier does not improve an individual's chances of being selected, as all eligible entries will be considered equally in the random drawing.
Specific game times and additional event information have not yet been announced.
The two-day visit will give Los Angeles baseball fans a different kind of experience at Dodger Stadium, replacing the traditional atmosphere of a Major League Baseball game with the music, dancing, trick plays and nonstop entertainment that have made the Savannah Bananas one of the most recognizable attractions in sports.
