Has India won a T20 series in New Zealand?
India have lifted the trophy twice on New Zealand soil: once with a 5-0 sweep in 2019/20, and again with a 1-0 result in 2022/23.
The earlier of those remains the lone five-match T20I series hosted there, and it required Super Overs to settle two of its fixtures. The later one ran to three matches, though rain wiped out one of them and another finished level.
The Black Caps, for their part, have taken three series against India, in 2008/09, 2012 and 2018/19, and the 2012 triumph is the only one that came on Indian soil.
India have not surrendered a home series since that point, claiming each of them in 2017/18, 2021/22, January 2023 and 2025/26. In fact, the 2018/19 defeat is the last series India have lost anywhere against this opponent, as they have won all five that followed.
