Edmonton is set to see snow beginning Tuesday night into Wednesday, according to Environment Canada. As of Monday afternoon, the forecast is calling for “periods of snow” in Edmonton, but how much can we expect?
Brian Proctor, a meteorologist with Environment Canada, said the forecast is currently calling for around five centimetres of the white stuff.
“You’ll definitely be getting something,” said Proctor, who added it will likely be a mix of rain and wet snow, but we won’t see significant accumulation.

Snow in October is inevitable, but the question is how much of it will stick around for Halloween on Saturday?
Proctor said don’t expect much snow on sidewalks or roads, as the temperatures are expected to reach a high of 4 C on the weekend.
“It won’t be too bad for trick-or-treaters,” he said.
