Katie Holmes and Jason Bard Yarmosky may be a newish couple—having just started dating this past summer—but their outfit-coordinating game is strong. Yesterday, the pair was seen landing in New York City’s John F. Kennedy Airport while looking shockingly fresh and cool.
Taking a page from the new rulebook of airport style (aka no sweats), they both wore baggy jeans. The visual artist wore a pair of classic, straight-leg blue jeans in a vintage wash, while the actress went for a wide-leg pair with two-tone denim and frayed hems.
Yarmosky paired his pants with a gray T-shirt, a chocolate suede jacket, and brown leather loafers. He accessorized with black sunglasses for a final cool-guy touch.
Holmes went for a classic outfit formula of hers, styling her jeans with a crisp white button-down and her favorite plaid wool jacket from Dries Van Noten in black and white. Little black ballet flats, a cream leather tote, and brown sunglasses rounded out her travel-day ensemble.
The Dawson’s Creek alum tends to keep her off-duty style simple and classic. She loves a good jean, she is a sucker for a vintage tee, and while she looks great in a heel, she’s more of a funky flat or pretty ballerina girl.
“After the [COVID-19] pandemic, it’s a low heel, a flat, or a sneaker—maybe a sandal, if I remember to get a pedicure,” the actor told Harper’s Bazaar during a chat last year.
And luckily, her beau’s effortless style melds with hers perfectly. They’re a match made in fashion heaven.
