Free uniforms distributed
Anandhalatha Educational Trust has been providing educational support to underprivileged students for the past 20 years. The trust aims to promote education among economically disadvantaged families and help students pursue their studies without financial difficulties.
As part of its educational service, the trust has been distributing free uniforms and providing other essential educational assistance to deserving students. This initiative has helped many students from economically weaker sections continue their education with confidence and dignity.
The trust has been extending its services to Government school students from Classes 9 to 12 in several areas of Theni district, including Pannaipuram, Melasokkanathapuram, Highwavys, Odaipatti, Kottur and Thevaram. Over 300 students have benefited from this initiative.
The free school uniforms were distributed by trust founder of M.M. Anandavel, general secretary of the Theni Melapettai Hindu Nadargal Uravinmurai. The programme was organised to support students from financially disadvantaged backgrounds and encourage them to pursue their education without interruption.
Sundaramurthy, the trust coordinator, school headmasters, teachers and students participated in the event.
