Life away from the Formula 1 paddock has taken on a different meaning for Lewis Hamilton, who has revealed that spending time with Kim Kardashian's children has become one of his favorite ways to escape the demands of racing.
The 41-year-old Ferrari driver made the admission during the United States Grand Prix weekend in Austin, offering a rare glimpse into a relationship that has attracted considerable attention since becoming public earlier this year.

Hamilton explained that Kardashian's four children have become an important part of his personal life, before revealing that he had surprised them with a golden retriever puppy named Halo.
The gift represents another indication of the couple's growing closeness, although neither has publicly discussed any plans to take their relationship further.
Hamilton's comments came when he was asked what brings him happiness outside the competitive environment of Formula 1.
Rather than discussing his business interests or other activities, the British driver immediately turned his attention to Kardashian's family.
"My girlfriend's kids, I love spending time with them. She's got four, so I'm getting to play with these kids," Hamilton said.
He then shared details of a gift that has introduced another member to the household.
"I got them a dog this year, so little Halo is a new member of that family," he added.
Kardashian, 46, shares North, 13, Saint, 10, Chicago, eight, and Psalm, seven, with her former husband, rapper Kanye West.
The golden retriever has already appeared in photographs shared by Kardashian, including images from a lakeside holiday where she posed affectionately alongside the puppy.
The reality television star captioned one of those posts "lakemaxxing," giving followers an early glimpse of the family's newest companion.
Kardashian remains private about relationship
Hamilton and Kardashian were first romantically linked in February, with their relationship becoming more visible through photographs and social media appearances over the following months.
However, Kardashian has generally avoided discussing the romance publicly, despite considerable interest surrounding the unlikely celebrity pairing.
When E! previously asked about her relationship with the Formula 1 champion, she declined to provide details.
"In the most respectful way, I'd probably rather not," Kardashian replied.
Hamilton's latest comments therefore offer an unusually direct acknowledgment of their relationship and his involvement in her family life.
Significance for Lewis Hamilton
The decision to welcome Halo into Kardashian's household comes after Hamilton experienced the loss of his beloved English bulldog, Roscoe, in September 2025.
Roscoe had accompanied the British driver throughout much of his racing career, becoming a familiar presence at Formula 1 events and developing his own devoted following.
Hamilton spoke openly about the grief he experienced following the dog's death, making his latest involvement with Kardashian's new pet especially meaningful.
While Halo is a new addition rather than a replacement for Roscoe, the gift reflects Hamilton's longstanding affection for animals.
It also illustrates how his personal priorities have developed as he continues competing at the highest level of motorsport.
