Solana has maintained its competitive position as the second-ranked blockchain network in weekly decentralized exchange (DEX) spot volume, trailing only Binance. This marks the 14th consecutive week that Solana has outperformed major centralized exchanges (CEXs) such as Bybit, Coinbase, and Kraken, as reported by @SolanaFloor. The reported weekly DEX spot volume on Solana was $12.63 billion for the week ending October 23, 2026, although this reflects a decline from $13.61 billion the previous week. This sustained high on-chain activity suggests a robust preference for Solana’s decentralized environment over traditional CEXs.

Key Takeaways

• Solana appears to consistently outperform major CEXs like Bybit, Coinbase, and Kraken in weekly DEX spot volume.
• The network’s weekly DEX volume of $12.63 billion indicates strong on-chain activity, though it has decreased from the previous week.
• Market pricing suggests that Solana’s performance may be influencing confidence in its potential price movements.

What to Watch

Watch for Solana’s ability to maintain or increase its DEX spot volume in the coming weeks. Developments such as further regulatory clarity, new partnerships, or technological upgrades could indicate scenarios supportive of Solana’s price reaching higher thresholds, including $190 in October. Conversely, significant declines in DEX volume or adverse regulatory actions may suggest scenarios where Solana’s price movement could be constrained.
