Graeme McDowell has confirmed he will follow the lead of Jon Rahm, Tyrrell Hatton and Ian Poulter, among others, by becoming the latest player to leave LIV Golf.
The 2010 US Open Champion revealed the news in a social media post on Monday, but the 47-year-old did not elaborate on his future plans.
"I've decided not to pursue LIV 2.0," the Northern Irishman wrote on X.

"I'm grateful for the opportunity I've had over the last four years and want to thank everyone who has been part of that journey.
"I look forward to the next chapter of my career."
LIV Golf is currently plotting out its future after its former backers, Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund (PIF), announced in April that it would be ending its financing of the breakaway league at the end of the 2026 season.
The league was left searching for new investment, but secured financing from BC Partners Credit before filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection and citing its intentions to relaunch again in 2027 in a new league, dubbed LIV 2.0.

The move left some LIV players contemplating their futures on the tour, with two-time major winner Rahm reaching a separation agreement in October to leave due to 'unacceptable terms' proposed for LIV 2.0.
His compatriot, Sergio Garcia, has also ended his contract, while Hatton announced on social media on Friday that he too would "not be a part of LIV 2.0".
BC Partners had set a deadline of October 25 for players to commit to the league going forward, with a handful of players having announced they would re-sign.
McDowell, who was a part of LIV Golf's OKGC side, joined the breakaway league in 2022.
His last start at a DP World Tour event, outside of the majors, came at the 2022 BMW PGA Championship.
