Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution PLC incurred losses once again in FY2025-26, extending its losing streak to four consecutive years and bringing its total accumulated loss over this period to Tk2,275 crore.
Despite the persistent financial downturn, the state-owned entity recommended a 2% cash dividend for the fiscal year that ended on 30 June 2026.
According to financial disclosure statements filed on the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) today (27 October), Titas reported a negative earnings per share (EPS) of Tk6.02 for FY26, showing a slight contraction in losses compared to an EPS of negative Tk7.80 recorded in the previous fiscal year of FY2024-25.
The company's net asset value (NAV) per share dropped to Tk83.94 at the end of June 2026, down from Tk90.13 recorded a year earlier.
Meanwhile, net operating cash flow per share (NOCFPS) fell into negative territory at negative Tk2.70 for FY26, sharply declining from Tk18.17 in FY25. Negative NOCFPS means the company is currently suffering from an operating cash crisis.
To approve the latest annual accounts and the recommended dividend, the company has scheduled its Annual General Meeting (AGM) for 24 December.
Also, 17 November has been set as the record date for determining shareholders eligible for the recommended dividend and participation in the AGM.
