KUALA LUMPUR: Popular actor Shaheizy Sam Abdul Samad has apologised to customers visiting his new pizza restaurant, Abdul'ss, after high demand led to unexpected delays.
The 44-year-old Adnan Sempit star pleaded with customers travelling from afar to be patient, as the restaurant is currently experiencing some "teething problems".
"At the moment the kitchen's capacity is still pretty limited, and the orders are extra long. But God willing, things will stabilise slowly but surely," said Sam in a recent news report.
"My sincere apologies to everyone. Things will slowly get better I promise. My team and I are going all out to increase the production capacity of this humble new restaurant, and once things are settled, it's all systems go."
Located in the federal capital, the restaurant is a tribute to Sam's late father, Abdul Samad Jaaman, who passed away when Sam was just 12 years old.
The double 'S' in the restaurant's name is also a nod to Sam and his wife, actress Syatilla Melvin.
