This medieval adventure game, loved by 90% of players, is 70% off on Steam

Following the events of A Plague Tale: Innocence, this game takes you on a new adventure with Hugo and Amicia in a France ravaged by the Hundred Years' War and the Black Death. And right now, it is 70% off on Steam, bringing its price down to $14.99.

The story takes place a few months after the first game. Amicia and Hugo have decided to head to southern France to start a new life and try to control Hugo's curse.

However, the plague has resurfaced. Their only hope seems to lie on the island of La Cuna, where Hugo might be saved. But to get there, you'll have to travel through a medieval world that is as beautiful as it is dangerous.

Enemies are still a threat, and you'll need to avoid being spotted. If that happens, use various weapons to defeat them. Rats also pose a major danger, and just like in A Plague Tale: Innocence, you can repel them with fire. As you progress, you'll also be able to use Hugo's powers to control the rats.

Like its predecessor, A Plague Tale: Requiem is rated "Very Positive" on Steam, with 90% of its 27,967 reviews being positive. On Metacritic, it has a Metascore of 82 and a user score of 8.3. Many players praise it for its graphics and its story. The soundtrack and voice acting are also appreciated.

But according to some players, it lacks polish, and the controls feel clunky. Moreover, some criticize the excessive use of cutscenes at the expense of action. Finally, according to SteamDB, this sale ends on November 9, 2026, and it will then be available for $49.99.
