The Tampa Bay Rays face elimination in Tuesday’s World Series Game 4 as they try to keep their season alive against the Milwaukee Brewers.
Junior Caminero enters the game 2-for-10 in the series after going hitless in three at-bats during Tampa Bay’s 10-1 Game 3 loss. The 23-year-old third baseman remains one of the Rays’ most important offensive pieces as the club tries to avoid a sweep and extend the 2026 World Series.
SportsCenter shared a clip of ESPN’s Jeff Passan on X, formerly Twitter, as he discussed what the Rays need to do ahead of first pitch at Tropicana Field.

The Rays dropped the first two games in Milwaukee by one run each, falling 3-2 in Game 1 and 5-4 in Game 2 before returning home and dropping Game 3 as well.
Caminero recorded two hits, a double, a walk and an RBI across the first two games before the Brewers held him hitless in Game 3. His production now carries added importance with Tampa Bay one loss from elimination.
During the regular season, Caminero helped anchor a Rays lineup that powered the club to 98 wins. Tampa Bay then eliminated the New York Yankees in the Division Series before beating the Cleveland Guardians in six ALCS games to reach the World Series.
The Brewers prepare for Game 4 one victory from the first championship in franchise history, looking to cap off their second consecutive sweep after taking control of the series through three games.
Whether it is Caminero or someone else, the Rays need someone to step up Tuesday to keep their season alive and extend their World Series hopes.
