Toby Koffman, a Department of Public Works spokesperson, said in an email to the Truro News that the project is close to being finished and should be reopen by the end of this week.
On 511 Nova Scotia, the project’s anticipated end time is Oct. 30. Koffman said according to the area manager, they are still on track to meet that date.
Construction on the bridge, which connects Walker and Main streets, began in March.
Alternating lane closures are in place as crews work on site. Work is underway daily from sunrise to sunset.
