The Browns will carry four quarterbacks after all.
Dillon Gabriel was activated from injured reserve on Oct. 26, which is where he's been since Aug. 30 due to a back injury. The corresponding move was to place rookie tight end Carsen Ryan on waivers.
Gabriel now gives the Browns four quarterbacks on the active roster. Deshaun Watson has started the first seven games, while Shedeur Sanders been the backup and rookie Taylen Green has been inactive for all seven games as the emergency No. 3 quarterback.

Coach Todd Monken spoke roughly two hours before the move was officially announced. At the time, he was asked if it was possible to carry four quarterbacks.
“Sure, it’s possible," Monken said. "Hell, it’s possible we’ll pick one more up and have five. Hell, I don’t know.”
