Pakistan Railways has approved 829 vacancies from Grade 1 to Grade 16 under the Balochistan quota, with 805 positions allocated to the Quetta Division and 24 to the department’s headquarters.
Federal Minister for Railways Muhammad Hanif Abbasi has directed officials to ensure merit and transparency throughout the recruitment process. He said the hiring process under the Balochistan quota would be completed before November 30, 2026.
The approved positions include a 10% quota for women and a 5% quota for minorities. The recruitment plan also grants specific exemptions from written and screening tests for the designated appointments.
Pakistan Railways has invited applications for the vacancies through the National Jobs Portal, with November 11, 2026, set as the deadline.
Applicants must submit their educational certificates, national identity cards, domicile certificates, character certificates, and passport-size photographs as part of the application process.
The recruitment drive will fill vacant positions across the specified grades under the Balochistan quota, while the railway minister has emphasized the need to complete the process within the announced timeline and maintain transparency in hiring.
