With the Indianapolis Colts struggling with a 2-5 record and trade rumors continuing to spread, Jonathan Taylor addressed his wife’s comments on social media about his uncertain future.
Ayanna Taylor recently posted a video on Instagram discussing her husband’s fluid tenure with the Colts, including hinting at the possibility of their family moving out of Indianapolis.
After the Colts lost to the Minnesota Vikings, 16-10, on Sunday, the 27-year-old running back addressed his wife’s video, although he skirted around it.

“It’s been out there already, so I think her adding (to it) doesn’t really change anything. You know everybody’s on TikTok these days. So you just gotta come in to work and stay focused,” said the three-time Pro Bowler in the video posted by The Athletic’s James Boyd.

The trade rumors only intensified after the front office fired Chris Ballard as general manager, which many viewed as a signal that the team will make more changes in hopes of salvaging the season. Ballard drafted Taylor with the No. 41 pick in 2020.
Multiple teams are reportedly interested in acquiring the one-time All-Pro, namely the Vikings, the Denver Broncos, the Green Bay Packers, and the Seattle Seahawks.
In a report from ESPN’s Stephen Holder before the Colts battled the Vikings, Taylor refused to give weight to the trade rumors.
“I haven’t given them any thought. That’d be crazy right now, especially because we’ve got a great Minnesota Vikings team that we have to go against. I think it would be a discredit and a disservice to my teammates and this whole organization to think about what could, what should, what may be,” said Taylor.
He rushed for game-highs of 28 carries and 95 yards against the Vikings.
