Speaking exclusively to Tottenham News, transfer insider John Wenham urged Tottenham Hotspur to move in for Bournemouth forward Eli Junior Kroupi. Wenham said,
“The issue that has to be resolved in January is the striker situation.
“We were heavily linked with Kroupi in the summer, and reports said we were willing to pay £80m-100m on top of the other spending we did.
“I really hope that in the background, we are still progressing that deal, so on the 1st January, we can announce him as a Tottenham player.
“I appreciate the injury he’s hand, but that should mean he isn’t in the shop window for other clubs.
“Kroupi would run to play for Tottenham, as he would for Arsenal, Chelsea or whoever else, if we were confident of getting him in the summer, we should be able to do it now.”
Kroupi’s Impressive Record In The Premier League
Kroupi enjoyed a good run of form at Bournemouth in the previous campaign when he put in a run of impressive displays for them in the final third. The 20-year-old found the back of the net 13 times in 35 matches for the Cherries last season in multiple competitions.
The French starlet is currently among the most gifted young strikers in the Premier League. Hence, it is no wonder that Spurs are trying to get a deal over the line for him next year.
His current contract at the Vitality Stadium will run out in the summer of 2030, which could make it tough for Tottenham to land him on a cut-price deal this January or at the end of this campaign.

Should Tottenham Hotspur Boss Roberto De Zerbi Move In For Kroupi?
Kroupi can create some space for himself to get some strikes in at goal. He has the vision to engineer the odd chance for his teammates on the offensive end of the field and is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet.
The French sensation has already added a lot of goals to his game. He is quite familiar with the Premier League and won’t take any time to settle into life at Tottenham.
Kroupi would undoubtedly enhance the quality of Spurs head coach Roberto De Zerbi’s frontline in the long run. He is already good enough to compete for regular first-team football at the North London club.
At 20, Kroupi has the potential to be a world-class player in his position someday. He will also help Spurs compete across all fronts over the next few years. Therefore, De Zerbi would be wise to move in for Kroupi soon.
