NVIDIA will invest USD 3 billion in Meta Platforms. The two companies announced the deal on October 27, 2026. The money will go into Meta's equity offering. The deal also starts a new partnership to build Meta's Muse AI assistant and its wider family of AI models.
Few details were shared. The companies did not say much about the terms of the investment, the technical plans, or the timeline.
Inside the NVIDIA–Meta Partnership
NVIDIA supplies chips used in AI computing, while Meta develops AI tools for consumers. The investment strengthens the relationship between the two companies.
The partnership centers on Muse, which Meta sees as a big part of its AI plan. NVIDIA's computing power will help Meta build and run Muse and the models around it. For NVIDIA, it means a closer link with a major maker of AI products for consumers.

What Meta's Muse AI Assistant Can Do
Meta launched Muse in September. Users can hand it tasks like sending emails, booking travel, and completing purchases. It can connect to some apps, so it can take action instead of only answering questions.
Early users have shown interest. That gives Meta a chance to grow beyond social media and ads. CEO Mark Zuckerberg has called AI a key part of the company's long-term plan.
There are risks too. Letting an AI agent into personal accounts raises worries about privacy, security, and reliability.
Meta has been spending more on AI infrastructure, computing power, and model work. It competes with OpenAI and Anthropic. It also wants its AI products to bring in new revenue.
What Comes Next for NVIDIA and Meta
The deal shows how chipmakers and AI firms are growing closer as demand for computing power rises. For Meta, NVIDIA's backing could help it move faster on its AI goals. Still, with so few details out, it is too early to say how much the deal will change things.
