PETALING JAYA: Bersatu president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin has questioned the basis for possible disciplinary action against his party by Perikatan Nasional (PN), saying his party had done nothing wrong.
He said Bersatu had yet to receive any letter from PN on the matter.
"It would be strange and unusual for the PN Supreme Council to take action to punish us. What have we done wrong?" he told reporters after the party's Supreme Council meeting tonight.
Yesterday, PN secretary-general Datuk Seri Takiyuddin Hassan said Bersatu would face disciplinary action under Clause 15 of the coalition's constitution for allegedly acting against its interests, but would be given an opportunity to respond before any punishment was decided.
