Live updates, score from Florida basketball's exhibition vs Stetson

Florida basketball hosts the Stetson Hatters on Tuesday night for the second of two preseason exhibition games for the Gators ahead of the 2026-27 campaign. You can keep up with the action right here on our live blog with the game score, updates and highlights.

Florida leads the all-time series between the two Sunshine State schools, 53-12, dating back to 1921, when the Hatters doubled up the Gators, 36-18, in Gainesville. Stetson has not beaten the Orange and Blue since 1983 — a 77-73 triumph in the O'Dome — as UF has won the last 20 straight meetings, including last year's home game, 85-45.

The Hatters, under two-time national champion former Florida assistant Donnie Jones, bring in seven new players to surround returning All-Atlantic Sun Collin Kuhl, who averaged 13.1 points and 6.3 rebounds with a .656 field goal percentage last season.

Todd Golden's gang is ranked first in the preseason editions of both the USA TODAY Coaches Poll and AP Top 25, while Stetson has never been ranked in either poll.
