Two British men have appeared in court today and charged with national security offences over the incident at RAF Fairford in September, with one suspected of assisting Iran’s intelligence service.
The court heard that a group of men had been tasked to drive to the base with vans containing petrol by a handler known as Ali, who police believe was working for Iran.
