Entertainment insider Kgopolo Phil Mphela confirmed on X that Uthando Nesthembu Uncut is coming back with fresh episodes in time for the festive season, and South Africans are already buzzing.
The popular TV special had a hugely successful debut run last year, drawing massive audiences hungry for more unfiltered Mseleku family content. According to Mphela's post on 27 October 2026, viewers can expect brand new episodes dropping during the holiday season.
Uthando neS’thembu: Uncut returns with never-before-seen footage and unfiltered conversations from Musa Mseleku’s polygamous family. The special gives viewers a closer look at the tensions between Musa and his wives, MaCele, MaYeni, MaNgwabe and MaKhumalo, following the arrival of his fifth wife, MaKhwela. It also explores MaYeni’s emotional struggles and the challenges facing the family as they try to maintain their relationships amid growing disagreements.
What fans can expect
The return of Uthando Nesthembu Uncut is not the only thing giving fans reason to celebrate. Mphela's report appears to be part of a broader wave of returning favourites on Mzansi Magic, with shows like Ranakas also reportedly making a comeback alongside it.
For many followers of the Mseleku family's polygamous household, the Uncut specials offer a rawer, less polished look at family dynamics compared to the main show, which has kept audiences hooked for years.
