A resurfaced clip of Lamiez Holworthy's parents is doing the rounds again, and fans cannot get enough of what they are seeing.

The video, which was originally posted by Lamiez herself in 2024, features veteran musician and producer Sello "Chicco" Twala and Imelda Klow side by side in the kitchen, chatting and cooking together with an ease that had people stopping mid-scroll. Their warm, unhurried interaction painted a picture of two people who have long since moved past any awkwardness, choosing friendship and family harmony over anything else. Fans flooded social media with admiration, many pointing to the clip as a rare and refreshing example of what healthy co-parenting truly looks like.

How Chicco Twala and Lamiez's story came out

For many, the video also served as a reminder of a revelation that still catches some people off guard: Chicco Twala is Lamiez Holworthy's biological father. That story broke in early 2024 when a local publication first reported the connection, sending shockwaves through social media. Before the report surfaced, Lamiez had kept her lineage entirely private, never referencing Chicco on any of her social platforms.

The initial public reaction was a cocktail of disbelief and curiosity. However, both Lamiez and Chicco handled the spotlight with quiet dignity, confirming their father-daughter relationship without making it a spectacle. Since then, the two have appeared together at significant family events, including Lamiez's son Leano's christening and her traditional Nhlawulo ceremony.

Lamiez's blended family background

Lamiez grew up under the care of her mother, Imelda Klow, alongside her siblings Lushaan and Lariez. She was adopted by her late stepfather, Enver Holworthy, whose surname she carries to this day. It is a blended family story with multiple moving parts, but the resurfaced kitchen clip suggests that everyone involved has found a way to keep things grounded in warmth and mutual respect.

For fans who grew up watching Chicco Twala shape South African music, seeing him in such a domestic, tender setting alongside the mother of his child offered a different kind of portrait altogether, one that clearly resonated widely online.
