Now that we are steadily moving into the offseason with the 2026 Yankees’ disappointing ALDS loss to the Rays thankfully growing more distant to the present day, it’s time for Pinstripe Alley’s very own Roster Report Card series, where our staff evaluates and assigns grades to the most relevant players on the roster.
This series is scheduled to begin in mid-October and run through early December, skipping only Thanksgiving and weekends. We’ll start with the free agents who are imminently likely to hit the market and then proceed alphabetically. Missing from this series are Yankees manager Aaron Boone and general manager Brian Cashman, but you can find their evaluations by visiting the highlighted links.
As a reminder, the writer for a specific player isn’t assigning their own grade; these grades are averaged from our entire staff’s submissions.
This post will serve as the tracker for the report cards, keeping the links to them in an easy-to-access location.
