Faye Wong features on the new song, premiered during his four-night run at Kai Tak Stadium
Opening a four-night run at Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong, the Weeknd debuted the thematically apt “Hong Kong” on Saturday. The new song features the Hong Kong singer-songwriter and actor Faye Wong, who also stars in a sleek visual accompaniment, set in the nation’s capital, that premiered on the giant screen behind Abel Tesfaye as the song played. Watch it go down below.
Earlier this year, the Weeknd debuted another metropolis-themed song, “Rio,” in the titular city. (That was a duet with Anitta, who previously joined Tesfaye on “São Paulo.”) His last album, Hurry Up Tomorrow, came out last February.
