The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Tuesday announced a 15-member squad for the ACC Men’s U19 Asia Cup 2026, with Farhan Yousuf set to lead the side in the tournament scheduled to take place in Oman from November 5 to 14.
Defending champions Pakistan have been drawn in Group A alongside arch-rivals India, Nepal and hosts United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the eight-team continental competition.
Pakistan will begin their title defence against the UAE on November 6 at OCA Ground 2 before taking on traditional rivals India in a highly anticipated encounter at OCA Ground 1 on November 8.
The Green Shirts will conclude their group-stage campaign against Nepal on November 10 at the same venue. All three group-stage matches are scheduled to begin at 10am Pakistan Standard Time (PKT).
The squad features wicketkeeper-batters Abdul Qadir and Hamza Zahoor, while Usman Khan, Hayam Khan, Jahangir Bilal and Huzaifa Ahsan have been included among the specialist batting options.
Ahmed Hussain and Hasnain Abbas Dar will provide all-round options, with Abdul Subhan, Mohammad Seyam, Ali Raza and Rizwanullah forming the pace-bowling department.
Meanwhile, left-arm wrist-spinner Mohammad Huzaifa and left-arm spinner Niqab Shafiq will lead Pakistan’s spin attack.
Notably, the selectors have retained the majority of the squad that registered a 3-1 victory over England in a four-match Youth ODI series in September.
Only two players, Ali Raza and Huzaifa Ahsan, were not part of the squad that featured in the series against England.
