It took several weeks, but Cleveland Browns rookie wide receiver KC Concepcion finally had his breakout game on Sunday.
Against the Tennessee Titans on the road, Concepcion led all players in the game with 129 receiving yards on eight catches and 10 targets, as Cleveland came away with a 27-24 victory. The 22-year-old Concepcion added 15 rushing yards on three carries, as Cleveland improved to 5-2 overall.
The only thing missing in Concepcion’s day was a touchdown, and he nearly got one in the third quarter, where he dropped a pass from quarterback Deshaun Watson.
It would have likely been a score for Concepcion if he reeled in that pass. He talked about it after the game, as he said he’s been putting focus on his drops this season.

“I’ve been working so hard on my drops, and I let that one get away from me, man,” the former Texas A&M Aggies star wideout said after the game, via Camryn Justice of News 5 Cleveland.
“It would have been my first one of the season. But I felt like I did a great job not dwelling on the play, not being too focused on the drop and moving on. And on the end around, I finally got my number called again and I made a play.”

The Browns selected Concepcion 24th overall in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft. Prior to Sunday, his most productive game od the season was when he posted 64 receiving yards on five receptions and eight targets in Week 4’s win over the Pittsburgh Steelers at home.
Concepcion, however, is still looking for his first touchdown in the NFL, and he could get that in Week 8’s rematch against the Steelers at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh.
