LG Electronics (066570) will hold a month-long home appliance sale to coincide with Korea Grand Festival, the country's largest shopping event. The company will discount popular appliances including televisions, refrigerators and washing machines, and offer coupons and membership points based on purchase amounts.
The promotion runs from Oct. 29 through Nov. 30 at the company's official online mall (LGE.COM) and at LG Best Shop stores nationwide, LG Electronics said on the 27th.
The official online mall app will offer six types of discount coupons tied to purchase amounts. Customers spending at least 500,000 won can receive 50,000 won off, while those spending at least 1 million won can receive 100,000 won off. Purchases of 3 million won or more qualify for a 270,000 won discount. The six coupons together total 1 million won in discounts.
For the first five days of the promotion, the company will sell limited quantities of televisions, refrigerators and dishwashers at discounted prices.
At LG Best Shop stores, the offline retail channel, coupon packs worth up to 1.04 million won will be available starting Nov. 1 across 15 product categories including OLED televisions, Gram laptops and WashTower units. Customers who buy or subscribe to two or more products can receive up to 7 million won in additional discounts, depending on the conditions. Membership points of up to 2.1 million won will also be awarded based on purchase amounts.
LG Electronics will hold a drawing for 131 customers who purchase or subscribe to appliances during the promotion period, with prizes including Styler garment care units and mobile gift certificates.
