PancakeSwap announced a significant change today affecting users holding CAKE on opBNB. Due to LayerZero ending support for opBNB, the bridge support used to remove CAKE from this network via LayerZero will end on November 23rd.
The deadline stated in the announcement is calculated as 03:00 Turkish time. PancakeSwap requested that users complete their transactions before this date.
The team proposed migrating CAKEs from opBNB to the BNB Chain and shared the official bridge link. During the process, opBNB must be selected as the source network.
The scope of the change specifically applies to users who have CAKE on this network. The announced decision does not include halting CAKE transfers across all networks or shutting down PancakeSwap.

After the deadline, it will no longer be supported to withdraw CAKE from opBNB via the current LayerZero-based route. Therefore, it is important for users holding tokens on different networks to check which blockchain their balances are on.
PancakeSwap directed users to its official link for the transfer process. Users should be wary of fake link sites and links sent via private messages, especially as the deadline approaches.
