The Kumbungu Constituency Youth Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Abubakari Mashud Wumpini, has thanked party members and supporters for their backing during the just-ended constituency elections.
In a message of appreciation, Mr Wumpini expressed gratitude to traditional leaders, branch youth organisers, party executives, religious leaders, Youth Employment Agency (YEA) beneficiaries and his campaign team for their support.
He said their loyalty and encouragement had strengthened his resolve to serve the constituency, particularly amid the challenges and opposition that characterised the elections.
“I do not take your trust for granted, and I promise to work even harder to justify the confidence you have reposed in me,” he said.
Mr Wumpini assured supporters that he would remain committed to their expectations, declaring: “I WILL NOT DISAPPOINT YOU!”
He also prayed for continued unity and progress within the constituency, asking Allah to bless supporters and strengthen their bonds.
The statement follows the NDC’s recent constituency elections in Kumbungu, where Mr Wumpini thanked party members for standing by him and reaffirmed his commitment to serving them with renewed determination.
