Three Betr Picks for Tuesday
Player | Projection | Our pick |
Nick Minicucci, DEL | 1.5 passing TDs | Higher |
Ajay Allen, WKENT | 54.5 rushing yards | Lower |
Isaiah Myers, MSRST | 93.5 receiving yards | Higher |
This Tuesday night, the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers will host the Delaware Blue Hens at 7:00 PM ET. At 8:00 PM ET, the Missouri State Bears will host the Sam Houston Bearkats.
Minicucci, after missing multiple games to injury, threw for five touchdowns and ran for another in the Hens' 61-38 win over the Bears last week. He completed two touchdowns each against two of the Hens' earlier opponents. The two games in which he fell short were against Vanderbilt and UVA – he only attempted eight passes in the latter game before his injury.
Allen's production this season has been feast-or-famine. Against Nevada and Missouri State, he combined for 207 yards and four touchdowns on 34 carries. He's totaled 139 rushing yards against the Hilltoppers' other five opponents, not rushing for more than 50 against any of them.
Myers has been phenomenal for the Bears despite little else around him going right. He ranks sixth among FBS players with 796 receiving yards despite only tying for 49th with 38 catches. He put up a career performance last week against Delaware with 242 yards and two touchdowns on 11 catches.
