Ahsan Habib has been appointed chairman of the National Board of Revenue (NBR) after serving as acting chairman for nearly four months.
According to a press release, Ahsan Habib will return to his parent cadre before retirement.
The Ministry of Public Administration issued a press release on Monday confirming his appointment as NBR chairman and secretary of the Internal Resources Division (IRD) on deputation under the President’s 10 per cent quota.
The government appointed him acting chairman of the NBR and acting secretary of the IRD on June 29.
