Solana now counts 1.73 million holders of tokenized real-world assets. That figure grew by 140,000 in a single week.
Solana’s growth has been steep by any measure. The network crossed 300,000 RWA holders in July 2026. Data from mid-to-late October 2026 showed approximately 840,000 to 907,000 RWA holders on the network. The same period showed roughly 1.4 to 1.5 million holders of tokenized stocks specifically.
Tokenized stocks have done most of the heavy lifting. Stock tokens accounted for nearly 90% of new wallet holders during this stretch.
The dollar figures have followed the user counts. Distributed RWA value on Solana reached between $4.37 billion and $4.86 billion by October 2026. A year earlier, that figure was approximately $1.08 billion.
Where the trading actually happens
Solana’s dominance shows up most clearly in trading activity. The network has recently captured more than 95% of on-chain trading volume for tokenized equities.
Cumulative tokenized stock trading volume on Solana passed $10 billion by June 2026. Monthly tokenized equity volume hit $3.47 billion in that same month.
Several platforms are driving the activity. xStocks supplies a range of tokenized equities. Securitize and Ondo are also major contributors to the network’s RWA growth.
On the institutional side, BlackRock’s BUIDL fund stands out. The product is valued at around $872 million on Solana, giving the network a heavyweight Wall Street name in its RWA lineup.
How Solana got here
Solana still trails Ethereum in total RWA asset value. Ethereum has long been the default home for tokenization projects, particularly those aimed at institutions moving large sums.
But Solana has carved out a different lane. Instead of competing purely on assets under management, it has become the place where tokenized stocks actually change hands.
What this means for the RWA race
The most important takeaway is who is showing up. Tokenization pitches have historically centered on banks and asset managers modernizing back-office plumbing. Solana’s numbers suggest retail users may be the faster-moving force.
There are risks worth watching, too. Value on Solana’s RWA side is concentrated in a handful of products and platforms. A single large fund like BUIDL accounts for a sizable chunk of the network’s tokenized value.
Holder counts also deserve some scrutiny. A wallet holding a small amount of a tokenized stock counts the same as one holding a large position. Rapid holder growth tells you about breadth of adoption, not necessarily depth.
From 300,000 RWA holders in July 2026 to 1.73 million now, the next things to watch are whether weekly additions hold near the 140,000 mark, whether tokenized stocks keep their near-90% share of new holders, and whether Solana can begin closing the asset value gap with Ethereum.
