There's more prison drama ahead in Coronation Street, as Ross Wilkes (Ian Burfield) drips poison into Gary Windass's (Mikey North) ear about wife Maria Connor's (Samia Longchambon) life on the outside.
He also enjoys taking control over Marco Rhodes (Will Teasdale), though his oblivious girlfriend Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) thinks he's lucky to have someone in his corner.
Meanwhile, at Underworld, Idris Nazir (Junade Khan) orders Brody Michaelis (Ryan Mulvey) to jeopardise Carla Connor-Swain's (Alison King) Underworld empire, and Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) comes to blows with his nephew Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson).
Elsewhere, there's a difficult conversation between Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) and Ronnie Bailey (Vinta Morgan), and Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) is struggling with the pressure from his family amid his stage three breast cancer battle.
Here's everything happening in the episodes of Coronation Street airing between Monday 2 and Thursday 5 November.
7 Coronation Street spoilers for next week
1. Ross Wilkes twists the knife with Gary Windass and Marco Rhodes at the prison
Gary becomes increasingly concerned about Marco’s wellbeing behind bars when he spots a nasty gash on his arm. Although he attempts to brush off the injury, Gary isn’t convinced that everything is as it seems.
Summer is left distressed when she and Maria arrive at the prison, only to be told by a guard that Marco won’t be leaving his cell. Worried that he could be suffering at the hands of other inmates, Gary voices his concerns, but his wife is quick to urge him to stay out of it.
Desperate for reassurance, Summer later finds Ross in the Rovers and is relieved when he promises to keep an eye on her boyfriend. Ross attempts to keep him occupied by revealing that he has put his name down for a cleaning job, but when he later seeks him out alone in his cell, his intentions remain unclear.
Later, Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) assures Summer that Adam is prepared for Marco’s appeal. However, nerves are running high as the women wait anxiously at court for Adam to arrive. When he finally races in, he finds Summer deeply upset.
Will the appeal go according to plan?
Back behind bars, Gary tells Marco about Ross’s suggestion that Maria might be having an affair. Marco dismisses the claims, insisting that Ross is simply trying to wind him up and should be ignored.
During another visit, Summer tells Marco how lucky he is to have Ross looking out for him. Marco hides his true feelings and nods along, but Ross’s subsequent actions suggest there is trouble ahead.
When Ross spots a card from Summer among Marco’s belongings, he picks it up and tears it to pieces. Gary is furious when he discovers an upset Marco and confronts Ross, who refuses to back down. Making it clear that he intends to remain in control, he leaves Gary wondering just how far his influence over Marco extends.
2. Idris Nazir's scheming threatens Carla Connor-Swain's business
Idris begins to take an interest in Carla's business affairs when he overhears her discussing an important meeting at the hotel with wife Lisa (Vicky Myers). The meeting initially appears to be going well, much to Carla and Michael Bailey’s (Ryan Russell) delight, but Idris makes a move when their client steps away to use the loo.
Later, he listens in as Carla confides in Lisa at the café. With the factory struggling financially, Carla admits that she may have to cancel the Christmas bonus and needs to ensure the current order is completed on time if the business is to survive.
The situation soon becomes even more desperate when Carla breaks the news to her devastated employees that she is struggling to keep the factory afloat.
Meanwhile, Idris meets Brody behind the factory and hands him a lighter, revealing that he has a job for him. Brody subsequently lets himself into No. 4 and steals foster mum Sally Metcalfe’s (Sally Dynevor) set of factory keys. After checking that the coast is clear, Brody lets himself into the deserted factory, unaware that Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) is watching his every move.
The following day, Sally finds Carla and Lisa in the Rovers and informs them that the factory alarm is going off. With Brody having gained access to the building, what damage has he caused?
At Speed Daal, an angry Leanne confronts Idris and Brody, revealing that she witnessed the teen breaking into the factory. The consequences are devastating for Carla and her staff, as she announces that she has no choice but to close Underworld and can afford to pay her workers just one month’s wages.
Brody is left disgusted when he realises that Leanne and Idris appear largely unconcerned about the factory’s closure and the livelihoods of everyone who works there. But with the business facing ruin, can anything be done to save it?
In a further twist, Idris shows Leanne the factory floor plans at Speed Daal and explains that once the money from the sale of the school land comes through, the factory will be theirs.
While the couple look ahead to their plans, Carla receives some much-needed support. Sean Tully (Antony Cotton), Izzy Armstrong (Cherylee Houston) and Michael join her in the Rovers and promise to do whatever they can to help get the factory back up and running.
3. Daniel Osbourne discovers Adam Barlow's involvement in the sale of the Weatherfield High land
Daniel has reason to celebrate when he visits dad Ken Barlow (William Roache) at No. 1 and reveals that he has submitted his latest article to the Weathy Gazette. With a response still pending, Daniel can only wait and hope that his work will be accepted.
His patience pays off when the family gathers for lunch and Daniel announces that the Gazette has been in touch and intends to publish his article. Ken is delighted by the news, but Adam and Alya struggle to hide their guilt.
Their reaction becomes all the more significant when Daniel discovers Adam and Idris’s involvement in the sale of the school land.
Furious at what he has uncovered, Daniel confronts his nephew, who attempts to justify his actions by explaining that he couldn’t afford to turn down the business opportunity. However, Daniel is in no mood to listen, and the confrontation soon turns physical.
Ken and Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney) are horrified when they stumble across the pair fighting in the street, forcing Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) to step in and separate them.
With tempers still running high, Adam reveals that he is due in court. Tyrone quickly points out that he can hardly turn up wearing a ripped suit covered in blood.
4. Christina Boyd remains suspicious of the events surrounding daughter Rachel Parkinson's death
Christina Boyd (Amy Robbins) remains deeply troubled by late daughter Rachel’s situation and is convinced that Richie Parkinson (Nathan Sussex) is the real villain of the piece. Despite her growing suspicions, George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) urges her to step back and allow the police to carry out their investigation.
Unwilling to let the matter rest, she reveals that she has written a letter to Richie in the hope that he will agree to a visit. Christina wants the opportunity to see him face-to-face and discover what kind of man he really is.
But will Richie agree to meet her, and could Christina’s determination to uncover the truth lead her into further trouble?
5. Tyrone Dobbs bites the bullet and apologises to Chesney Winter-Brown
Tyrone is left hurt when brother-in-law Chesney Winter-Brown (Sam Aston) pointedly ignores him on the street. However, Fiz Dobbs (Jennie McAlpine) has little sympathy for her husband, believing that he has brought the situation upon himself.
Later, while in the shop, Tyrone receives some advice from Ross, who encourages him to take the higher ground and apologise to Chesney once again.
Although Ty' is reluctant to make the first move, he eventually agrees to follow his dad's advice.
6. Kit Green struggles amid his stage three breast cancer battle
Bernie Winter-Alahan (Jane Hazlegrove) goes into overdrive trying to look after Kit, insisting that he starts the day with a nutritious breakfast. He soon feels smothered by her constant attention and struggles to hide his frustration.
Things don't improve when Lisa presents him with a men's pamper hamper, leaving Kit feeling more like a charity case than anything else. His mood takes another hit when he returns home to discover Gemma Winter-Brown (Dolly-Rose Campbell) and Bernie discussing the BRCA gene once again.
Sensing that Kit needs a break from the constant concern, Dev Alahan (Jimmi Harkishin) suggests they head out for a curry. Kit is grateful for the change of scenery, but Dev also attempts to get through to him, encouraging him to cut Bernie some slack and recognise that her overprotectiveness comes from a place of love.
Later in the week, Kit’s exhaustion begins to take its toll at work. Despite Lisa advising him to go home, he refuses to leave. When a distressed woman in the waiting room suffers a coughing fit over him, he loses his temper.
Kirk Sutherland (Andrew Whyment) witnesses the exchange and steps in to comfort the woman before informing Bernie, Brody and Dev about Kit’s behaviour. Brody points out that Kit is undergoing chemotherapy and needs to be particularly careful about his health.
Lisa subsequently tells her colleague that he needs to take sick leave, but he reacts furiously, directing his anger at Bernie and accusing her of being overprotective.

Sarah Platt (Tina O'Brien) then spots her ex and stops to ask how he is doing. When she admits that she still thinks about him, Kit is touched by her honesty.
At home, Chesney attempts to reassure Gemma that whatever her hospital results reveal, they will face the situation together. But when Gemma receives a call from the hospital, the family is left waiting anxiously for news.
Could the results bring fresh worries for the family, and will Kit finally accept that he needs to put his health first?
7. Debbie Webster and Ronnie Bailey address their future
Ronnie reveals that he is due to attend a support group meeting, prompting Debbie to announce that she would like to accompany him.
Debbie also approaches Sally, Christina and Glenda Shuttleworth (Jodie Prenger) with a request for help on a project she is working on. Inviting the women over for a get-together the following day, she hopes to bring them together for a girly session.
Before the gathering can take place, however, Glenda insists that Christina and Sally must put their differences aside, ordering them to sort out their disagreements before Debbie’s party.
Later, Debbie turns her attention to a much more personal matter when she tells Ronnie that they need to discuss her long-term care while she is still able to make decisions for herself. The prospect leaves Ronnie heartbroken, as the reality of what Debbie is facing becomes painfully clear.
Can he bring himself to have the conversation she needs, or will the thought of planning for the future prove too much for them both?
