DS Thea Ramsden’s (Chelsea Edge) determination to get revenge on mum Kim Tate (Claire King) isn’t going to end the way she wants in Emmerdale.
The character, introduced to us earlier this year, wants to destroy Kim after being put up for adoption when she was a baby.
As desperate as she is to succeed in her plan, things aren’t going to play out the way Thea hopes. Due to Kim’s rising panic, she acts fast in the middle of her showdown with Thea, leading to a moment she may regret forever.
Here’s everything you need to know about the drama unfolding in tonight’s episode, and what happens next.
What happens in Emmerdale today (Monday, October 26)?
Up Next
At Home Farm, Kim continues to grow paranoid in the aftermath of Baby Tate being abducted.
As Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) heads to the cottage, Kim calls on Thea for some help, completely unaware of what’s really on the copper’s mind.
Down the road, Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) realises his murder mystery event has taken a turn when a man called Dave arrives and makes it clear he wants to teach Dylan Penders (Fred Kettle) a lesson.
Spoilers for Tuesday, October 27’s episode…
When Kim realises that Thea had it in for her during the crash that killed Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley), she realises that Thea may be responsible for Baby Tate going missing.
Kim pushes her to admit the truth, causing Thea to lose her temper. Kim makes a run for it and, in an attempt to defend herself, she stabs her daughter.
As Thea bleeds out, Kim pushes her to admit where the baby is. Thea accuses Kim of trying to sell the child, and then passes out.
Meanwhile, Graham rushes to the stables and finds Baby Tate, but is shocked to realise who his kidnapper is.
Elsewhere, Ruby and Caleb Miligan (Beth Cordingly and William Ash) get into an argument at the depot, right in front of a client. Caleb and Ruby blame each other and Ruby storms off. Once she’s gone, Sadie King (Patsy Kensit) manages to convince Caleb that his wife has a drink problem.
