How to Get Apollo’s Sunshot Rod in Fisch

Apollo’s Sunshot is a Stage 7 fishing rod that was added with the Wrath of Olympus update of Fisch. It comes with a special ability that burns the fish and slows it down for a faster catch. Unlocking it can be a little tricky, as you need to complete quests and solve different puzzles. In this guide, learn how to get the Apollos Sunshot rod in Fisch.

To unlock Apollo’s Sunshot Rod in Fisch, you will first need to complete Bellona’s frenzy of war, which is the first layer of Wrath of Olympus inside Atlantis. Follow these steps to reach Atlantis in Fisch:

• Spawn a boat at Moosewood Village and sail southeast toward the Grand Reef.
• Head to the island where Bubble Mermaid is located.
• Equip the Heart of Zeus and jump into the entrance to reach Atlantis.
• Once you reach the Sunken Depths, dive into the water and keep going deeper until you find Wrath of Olympus.

You will reach Bellona’s Frenzy of War. To progress forward, you will have to complete its Bestiary and finish the Royal Guards’ quests and break the seal. Here are the objectives you need to complete to break it:

• Obtain five Bellona Swords.
• Obtain the Royal Helmet.
• Obtain five Shield Fragments.
• Catch the required exotic fish and win the minigame.
• Complete the layer’s Bestiary and the Royal Guards’ quests.

Once you finish these objectives, you can progress to the second layer, Apollo’s Song of Light.

Apollo’s Song of Light

Apollo’s Song of Light is the second layer of Wrath of Olympus; this is where you will find Apollo’s Sunshot rod. Before you can obtain the rod, you need to complete its Bestiary and solve two puzzles.

• Adjust the Mirrors: Near the seal, you will find five mirrors that reflect light. Interact with them and adjust their direction so that every mirror faces the seal below.
• Solve the Instrument Puzzle: There are several huge glowing musical instruments around the map. You need to interact with them to open the door. Follow this order: Drums>Banjo>Saxophone>Violin>Harp.

Once you play the instruments in the correct order, the door will open.

Activate the Stone Tablets and Catch a Helios Sunray

After completing the puzzles, you need to activate all the Stone Tablets. To activate them, you need to fish near them during the Solar Chorus event. If you are lucky, you can trigger an exotic hunt called the Helios Sunray hunt, the rarest fish in the area. Catching it spawns the Apollo’s Sunshot rod for five minutes.

A message saying, “A Helios Sunray emerges from the Light!” will appear on top of your screen. You can now walk towards the rod and buy it for 17,500,000 C$.
