Bengaluru-based Live2.ai, which uses artificial intelligence (AI) to connect social-media intelligence with marketing and commerce, has raised Rs 130 crore ($14 million) in a pre-Series B funding round led by venture capital firm IvyCap Ventures.
The round combines fresh capital for business expansion and a secondary component that provides partial liquidity to early shareholders.
Live2.ai plans to invest the capital in its AI agent platform, expand enterprise deployments, strengthen cloud infrastructure across North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific, and recruit engineers, data scientists, and customer success staff.
“Brands today are drowning in signals and starved of action,” said J Venkat, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer, Live2.ai. The funding, he added, would help bring detection, decision-making, and activation into a single governed workflow for global enterprise customers.
The platform monitors conversations across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit, X, and review websites. It integrates trend analysis, influencer-content audits, campaign publishing, and performance measurement. It also converts content cleared for commercial use into shoppable experiences across websites, retail outlets, customer relationship management systems, and online marketplaces.
The investment reflects a wider shift in how brands use social media to understand consumer behaviour and drive sales.
“Social has become a key channel for how consumers discover, evaluate, and buy, yet brands still rely on fragmented and manual tools to understand and act on it,” said Vikram Gupta, Founder and Managing Partner of IvyCap Ventures. He said Live2.ai was building an AI-native operating system to turn real-time cultural signals into commerce, with the security and governance required by global brands.
Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer Neha Suyal said the challenge is to turn intelligence into timely, measurable action at scale.
Live2.ai says it serves more than 200 brands across the United States, Europe and Southeast Asia, including Henkel’s Schwarzkopf, Titan Brands, and Shiseido. Revenue grew fourfold over the past 12 months, according to the company, with 90% generated outside India.
The investment comes at a time when funding into Indian AI businesses is growing. Recent rounds include voice-AI startup Navana.ai’s Rs 40 crore Series A fundraise in September and enterprise software company Kapture’s $10 million pre-Series B funding in June.
Policy is evolving alongside the industry. The government’s IndiaAI Mission has an outlay of Rs 10,371.92 crore over five years to develop computing infrastructure, support domestic AI capabilities, and promote responsible adoption.
Governance guidelines issued in February this year propose national institutions for AI policy coordination and safety. Separately, consumer-affairs guidance requires clear disclosure of paid or barter influencer endorsements.
