KUALA LUMPUR: Infomina Bhd has secured a RM32.11 million contract from the Home Ministry to provide maintenance and technical support services for the National Registration Department's (NRD) core application systems.
The technology solutions provider said it accepted the letter of acceptance from the ministry on Oct 27, with the 24-month contract running from Nov 1, 2026, to Oct 31, 2028.
The contract, worth RM32.11 million excluding service tax, covers system maintenance, technical support, data and file management, user training, technical courses and review workshops.
Infomina said the contract is expected to contribute positively to its earnings over the contract period.
The contract win follows the company's financial performance in the first quarter ended Aug 31, 2026, during which revenue rose 39.6 per cent year-on-year to RM76.2 million, while net profit increased 27.3 per cent to RM12.6 million.
Its newly reported artificial intelligence solutions and data business services segment contributed RM8.4 million, or about 11 per cent of total revenue, reflecting progress in diversifying its revenue streams and expanding its technology capabilities.
Infomina chief executive officer cum managing director Yee Chee Meng said the contract reflects the continued confidence in Infomina's capabilities to manage and
maintain critical technology environments that support essential public-sector operations.
He added that beyond providing system maintenance and technical support, the company's scope also encompasses
data and file management, user training, technical courses and review workshops.
"These services will allow us to leverage our technical expertise to support the reliability and operational effectiveness of JPN's core application systems throughout the contract period," he said in a statement.
Yee said the latest contract further reinforces Infomina's track record in supporting mission-critical technology systems within Malaysia's public sector.
"We will continue to pursue opportunities across both the public and private sectors, leveraging our expertise alongside our expanding capabilities in applications, cloud, data, artificial intelligence (AI), cybersecurity and managed services," he said.
