Evertrace, the founder detection platform serving more than 300 venture capital funds worldwide, has acquired Veck, a platform helping early-stage investors discover emerging startups and founders.
The acquisition expands Evertrace’s customer base and strengthens its early detection engine, an AI-powered platform that helps venture capital investors identify stealth startups before they officially launch.
“Veck has built a strong product with a clear understanding of how early-stage investors discover new opportunities,” says Jacob Graubæk Houlberg, cofounder of Evertrace. “Their technology complements our detection engine and strengthens our ability to identify founders at the earliest stages.”
A founder can begin attracting attention from investors before publicly announcing what they're building. Detecting that interest using Veck’s investor-interest capabilities will give Evertrace another way to identify emerging founders while their companies are still under the radar.
“Spotting founders as they start gaining that attention, often before they publicly launch, fits directly into what we do," says Simon Bøttkjær, cofounder of Evertrace. "Veck strengthens that capability, and we’re excited to welcome its customers to Evertrace."
“The [Veck] team built a thoughtful approach to finding useful signals in scattered activity,” adds Jakob V. Offersen, cofounder of Evertrace. “Combining those capabilities with our existing infrastructure gives us more ways to detect founders early.”
“We built Veck to help investors discover startups and founders they might otherwise miss,” says Igor Studennikov, CEO of Veck. “We’re proud of the product we created and grateful to the customers who helped shape it. Evertrace shares our focus on early discovery, making it a natural home for what we’ve built.”
Veck is Evertrace’s fourth acquisition, following Whisper AI, Seedpoint, and Morphais. The acquisitions support its strategy of bringing complementary technologies and data sources together to build a stronger founder detection engine for venture capital investors.
