Two NFC East rivals meet in primetime as the Eagles host the Cowboys on “Monday Night Football” to wrap up Week 7.
Neither team has had the season it hoped for, as both enter with 2-4 records and on losing streaks. Injuries have decimated Philadelphia’s offense, while Dallas’s porous defense has allowed 26.5 points per game through six weeks.
Philadelphia needs a win as Saquon Barkley returns to action, though Dak Prescott and company remain 4.5-point favorites on the road at Lincoln Financial Field.
Cowboys vs. Eagles prediction, best bet
The last time the Cowboys entered a primetime matchup as favorites to a backup quarterback, they were embarrassed at home by the Buccaneers. Now they get a second chance, with Jalen Hurts and DeVonta Smith among the notable Eagles out with injuries.
As much as this couldn’t be gift-wrapped for their struggling defense, the Cowboys haven’t stopped anyone all season, allowing a league-worst 149.8 rushing yards and struggling to halt the opposition, with 48 missed tackles entering Week 7.
Barkley returns for his first start in 2 weeks, nursing a hamstring injury and aiming to boost an Eagles offense led by Tanner McKee.

The injury bug, Lane Johnson’s retirement, and trades have hindered their offensive line. They rank near the bottom in rushing and will essentially have two rookies alongside Dallas Goedert as pass-catchers for this contest.
Dak Prescott and Dallas will have healthier playmakers in CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens, and Javonte Williams, but inconsistent play calls from Brian Schottenheimer have hurt them. After posting 31 or more points in Weeks 2 through 4, their last two losses tell a different story, with just 29 points combined.
The Eagles hold the worst ATS record at home, 0-3, this season, but trusting Dallas on the spread seems unfathomable.

Instead, I’ll stick with the Cowboys on the moneyline, as Prescott is 4-0 in road games on “Monday Night Football,” plus an anytime touchdown scorer play.
Same-Game Parlay: (+190, Fanatics Sportsbook) – Cowboys moneyline (-225) + CeeDee Lamb to score a touchdown (+120)
