Sony’s ULT WEAR headphones are down to $148.99 on Amazon right now, which is a big drop from the $248 recommended retail price. That’s 40% off RRP, and it knocks about $99 off the usual price, making this a strong time to grab a pair. The price is hidden, but you’ll see the discount when you add the cans to your Amazon cart.
The Sony ULT WEAR is built for people who like big, punchy bass. Its standout feature is the dedicated ULT button, which boosts the low end for a more hard-hitting sound. Sony also packs in active noise canceling, plus an ambient sound mode when you want to hear what’s going on around you without taking the headphones off.
There’s a lot here beyond the bass boost. You get wear detection, so playback can react when you take them off, and foldable earcups that make them easier to pack in a bag. App controls let you adjust EQ and tweak the sound to better fit what you listen to. Bluetooth multipoint support also helps if you switch between devices during the day, and LDAC support delivers higher-quality wireless audio.
Battery life is another highlight, with up to 50 hours of use and quick charging for short top-ups when you’re low. Add in the comfortable over-ear fit and the more travel-friendly foldable design, and this discount looks even better. At $148.99 on Amazon, the Sony ULT WEAR offers a lot for anyone who wants wireless noise-canceling headphones with extra bass and a much lower price than usual.
