Veteran Nollywood actress and gospel minister, Eucharia Anunobi, has been appointed Special Assistant on Women Mobilisation for the Enugu North Senatorial Zone by Governor Peter Mbah.
Her appointment was announced alongside other administrative and political appointments by the Enugu State Government.
Anunobi, known for her career in Nollywood and her work as a gospel minister, is expected to support the mobilisation and engagement of women across the Enugu North zone.
The development also brings another Nollywood personality, Rachael Okonkwo, into the state government’s fold.
Anunobi’s appointment adds to the involvement of entertainment personalities in public service, particularly in roles focused on community engagement and political mobilisation.
