Roborock’s Qrevo 2 Pro robot vacuum and mop is down to $649.98 at Amazon (regularly $899.99)—a $250 discount that brings it to its lowest price ever, according to price trackers—making it a solid mid-range option for homes with a mix of carpets and hard floors. Its 25,000Pa suction is designed to pick up everything from crumbs and dust to pet hair, while the anti-tangle brushes help keep long hair from wrapping around the rollers. More importantly, it automatically detaches its mop heads at the dock before vacuuming carpets, so you don't have to worry about damp rugs as it moves between different floor types.
As for how well it cleans, its mopping performance is excellent, with its maximum water flow and cleaning settings managing to lift even dried-on ketchup, though this mode is slow and leaves floors fairly wet. Vacuuming is generally good, too, especially on carpets. That said, you'll want to consider the clearance beneath your furniture, as the LiDAR sensor mounted on top gives this robot vacuum a relatively tall profile that prevents it from reaching under low furniture.
That limitation aside, much of the day-to-day upkeep is handled by the multifunctional dock, which automatically empties the dustbin, refills the robot’s water tank, washes the mop heads, and dries them with warm air. You'll still need to refill the dock's clean water tank, empty the wastewater, and replace the dust bags periodically, but that's considerably less hands-on work than maintaining a basic robot vacuum and mop. And to give you more control over the Qrevo 2 Pro, the Roborock app lets you map individual rooms, set no-go zones, and schedule targeted cleaning, while support for Alexa, Google Home, and Matter allows you to integrate it into your existing smart home setup.
