Ministry of Health opens recruitment portal for 36th batch of medical officers and dentists

The Ministry of Health (MoH) will officially open its online recruitment portal on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, for medical officers and dentists in the 36th batch who have completed their mandatory housemanship and obtained verification from the Medical and Dental Council.

In a notice issued on Monday, October 26, the Ministry stated that the recruitment drive aims to address critical staffing gaps in healthcare facilities across Ghana.

Qualified applicants are required to submit their applications online through the Ministry’s official portal at mohrecruitment.com. Candidates must follow the portal instructions to select their preferred operational districts and healthcare agencies.

The recruitment portal will open at 3:10 a.m. on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, and will close at midnight on Thursday, October 29, 2026.

In its statement, the Ministry urged all eligible health professionals to strictly utilize the designated portal and cautioned against falling victim to recruitment scams or individuals offering fraudulent assistance for a fee.

The Ministry emphasized that the selection process is entirely transparent and reaffirmed that no fee is required at any stage of the application.

“The Ministry of Health advises all applicants NOT to make any payment for this process,” the statement emphasized.
