Meghan Markle is joining “Junior MasterChef Australia.”
The Duchess of Sussex will be a “special guest” alongside host Poh Ling Yeow when the show returns in 2027 after six years, according to a press release from Australian network 10 on Monday.
The retired royal, 45, called her decision to take part in the competition series an “easy yes” in a gushing statement.
Markle wrote, “I love cooking with my own kids, [Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet], so seeing what these young stars create in the kitchen is going to be a lot of fun.
“I can’t wait to see what they cook up!” she concluded.
Yeow, for her part, said she “had a lovely time” filming “MasterChef Australia” with Markle in April.
“Being reunited will be a real treat,” Yeow continued. “I can’t wait to meet our pint-sized culinary adventurers — I’m expecting plenty of delicious surprises and a little mischief too.”
Markle’s rep did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
While it remains unclear when Markle will head Down Under to film the show, she and her family reportedly jetted out of the United Kingdom this week.
Markle, Prince Harry, Archie, 7, and Lilibet, 5, headed overseas amid the actress’ dad Thomas Markle’s bombshell child porn probe.
News broke Thursday that Thomas is being investigated in the Philippines after “hundreds, if not thousands” of child sex abuse images were allegedly recently discovered at his home by his son, Thomas Markle Jr.
Meghan told Page Six in a subsequent statement that she was “deeply distressed,” claiming she learned about her father’s alleged wrongdoing in 2018, which led to their estrangement.
“I hope it can now be understood that … any distance from my father and my choice to not allow him to have contact with our children, was for one reason: to protect them,” Meghan wrote. “I trusted that the authorities were doing the same for other families.”
London’s Metropolitan Police confirmed over the weekend, per the US Sun, that Meghan did receive a letter containing child sexual abuse allegations against Thomas Sr. — but in January 2019.
The “Deal or No Deal” alum’s rep acknowledged her recollection “may have been mistaken by a few months.”
A source told Hello! magazine that Meghan is “really, really upset” and “in bits” as she navigates the “emotional rollercoaster.”
“She keeps on looking at Lili and she’s in tears, and thinking about all the children, the alleged victims,” the insider said. “She has young children herself. It’s just devastating.”
The 82-year-old, for his part, has publicly denied allegations against him, dubbing them “sick lies.”
