Vivo has launched the Y600 in China with a 10,000mAh battery, a 50-megapixel rear camera, and a 120Hz AMOLED display. The company announced the smartphone on October 26.
It targets users who prioritize battery endurance and modern display features. The phone runs on Android 16-based OriginOS 6 and supports 44W wired charging for its unusually large battery.
Vivo Y600 starts at CNY 1,999, approximately Rs. 29,000, for its 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The brand offers three additional configurations, with the top-end 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model priced at CNY 2,499. Preorders are open in China, and sales begin on October 30 through Vivo’s online store.
Vivo Y600 Price and Specifications
The phone features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. A MediaTek Dimensity 7300e chipset powers the device, paired with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The handset also carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
For photography, the Vivo Y600 uses a single 50-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and up to 10x digital zoom. An 8-megapixel front camera handles selfies and video calls, while video recording supports resolutions up to 1080p. The single rear sensor means the phone lacks dedicated ultrawide and telephoto cameras.
Battery Takes Center Stage
The 10,000mAh battery stands out as the Vivo Y600’s biggest selling point, especially for users who value longer time between charges. Its 44W wired charging support helps replenish the large capacity, although charging times may remain longer than those of smaller batteries.
Vivo offers the smartphone in Diamond Gold, Obsidian Black and Sapphire Blue. Connectivity options include 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4 and USB Type-C.
Vivo Y600 currently targets the Chinese market, with no confirmed India launch date. Buyers elsewhere will need to wait for Vivo to announce wider availability.
