Shanaya Kapoor plays twin sisters in ‘Student of the Year: After Dark’ trailer

Shanaya Kapoor’s Aditi goes to extreme lengths to seek justice for her twin sister, Aayesha Malik, in the trailer of Student of the Year: After Dark, a thriller web series based on Karan Johar’s college romance franchise Student of the Year.

Dropped by the makers Tuesday, the one-minute-50-second-long video opens with Aayesha Malik, a student at St. Teresa Heritage School, found dead in Barakhali Lake, drowned and frozen.

In the next scene, her twin sister Aditi enrolls at St. Teresa’s to uncover the truth behind her mysterious death.

Kapoor plays both Aditi and Aayesha Malik, twin sisters whose lives take a turn following Aayesha’s mysterious death.

The following scenes offer a glimpse into a dark competition that takes place behind the scenes, known as ‘Student of the Year’.

Determined to seek justice for Aayesha, Aditi faces every hurdle and goes to great lengths to uncover the truth.
